ACDelco Alliance Jobber Program Adds Membership Benefits to Help Increase Awareness and SalesGRAND BLANC, MICH. — ACDelco is offering additional benefits for becoming a member of its Alliance Jobber Program (AJP). The benefits apply to both current AJP members and to independent jobbers — those parts distributors who are not direct accounts of ACDelco — who join. Starting in 2007, AJP members will accrue a marketing allowance — based on their ACDelco product purchases — to be used to directly promote and advertise their ACDelco offerings to their customers. In addition, ACDelco has committed to improving communications with its AJP members by providing them with two monthly correspondence pieces: ACDelco's Total Service Support (TSS) News and the ACDelco Trade Electronic Newsletter. AJP members also will receive a customizable e-newsletter that allows them to communicate special offers that complement ACDelco programs and promotions. AJP members will continue to receive ACDelco's Intune magazine and the TechConnect newsletter. “While we certainly think the added benefits may help grow the membership of ACDelco's Alliance Jobber Program, we're striving to have the best jobber program in the industry,” said Nancy McLean, ACDelco Marketing director. “These incentives are there to help AJP members sell more ACDelco products, and doing this helps us win customers together.” AJP members will continue to receive previous benefits, such as discounts on Cintas uniforms, Dell computers, Reynolds & Reynolds business forms, ADT Business Security systems, SPX tools and equipment and GM CrediNet credit card processing. Members also retain access to the acdelcotechconnect.com Web site and its Learning Management System (LMS), which offers a blended learning program of Web-based and instructor-led training. Alliance Jobbers are eligible for all levels of the ACDelco Image Program and have access to e-Business tools such as ACDelco's Web Integrated Service Environment (WISE) and WISE Internet Parts (WIP) systems. In order to become an AJP member or to retain membership status, jobbers must meet minimum ACDelco product purchase and inventory requirements. They also must stock a required level of ACDelco products and actively promote them, as well as display current ACDelco signage. In addition, AJP members are required to maintain an adequately trained sales staff and a sufficient number of delivery vehicles and be signed by a sponsoring ACDelco Warehouse Distributor. ACDelco markets high-quality replacement parts for Ford, Chrysler, Toyota, Nissan, Honda, GM and most vehicles on the road today.
